What is it?
We’ve taken a bucket of vindaloo and a chunk of cheddar cheese and turned them into a burger. That’s it. That’s the special. A 90s terrace banger you can eat.
It’s everything you’d expect from an Almost Famous special — big, daft and completely committed to the bit. Proper vindaloo flavour, proper cheddar, proper burger underneath it all. We didn’t do this by halves because we don’t know how.
And no, before you ask, it isn’t too spicy. Promise. Your gran could handle it. Bring your gran.
Why £15.66?
As an extra nod to England football’s healthy relationship with living in the past, we’ve priced it at £15.66. A subtle tribute to this country’s one and only footballing glory, which none of us can actually remember but all of us refuse to shut up about.
Is it the most petty pricing decision we’ve ever made? Possibly. Are we proud of it? Absolutely.
