Almost Famous is looking for someone with an excellent knowledge of the restaurant scene as well as being up to date with social and online trends. Linked In should be your second language, loving juicy burgers your first.
Almost Famous is a high energy fast casual group of 5 burger restaurants throughout the North with plans for further expansion. We are forward thinking and strive to be at the top, always. We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic individual to promote the brand through new custom, networking and managing bookings. You must be driven by results and have a desire to be the best at everything you do.
The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, be self motivating, have a wide network and be able to manage a pipeline to help promote the venues and drive awareness of the Almost Famous brand. You should have a good understanding of the market and current trends, you should know what’s cool, what’s hot and what’s really not.
As Bookings and Events Executive you will take responsibility for driving revenue in our venues, maximising spaces and offers. It will be your responsibility to drive new business in the restaurants through B2B and customer facing campaigns. You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Marketing team and the GMs to ensure you optimise sales.
Key responsibilities include –
Generate and secure new business through proactive outbound activity for all of our venues
Understand the local market trends and awareness of upcoming events in each area
Have an understanding of local competition and their activity
List venues on appropriate venue directories to drive awareness and increase bookings. Ensure these are consistently up to date with all relevant information
Work closely with our marketing team to ensure all offers are maximised
Look at ways in which we can increase bookings in all spaces within the venues
Attend weekly meetings with the operations team, and produce weekly sales report by venue
Ensure monthly targets are hit and exceeded with a focus on key dates
Ensure any events and bookings have been handed over to sites, communicating all details in advance.
Support the GMs to maximise revenue across the group portfolio
Utilise LinkedIn to network
Attend networking events regularly to push the Restaurants forward driving new business leads
Represent Almost Famous as the face of the business
Based in Greater Manchester but also to include frequent travel to Liverpool and Leeds
